Garryvoe Hotel Main Reception and local bars will also provide contact details. Taxi apps such as Uber & FreeNow are not generally used by local Taxi drivers but feel free to try! Local Hackney Drivers advise to PRE BOOK your journey with them
Cash Is King in this part of the world. We recommend having cash reserves, in particular for local Taxi's. Garryvoe Hotel and Pubs will do cashback but the closest ATM's are in Castlemartyr & Cloyne

Safest & Most Straightforward Route - for those travelling from Kildare, Midlands, Dublin regions, we would recommend take the M8 Motorway to Junction 19 (E Cork Pkwy/N25). From that point allow Google Maps to bring you to your final destination. We have found Google Maps can bring you cross country from just after Fermoy at Junction 15 and it is a more difficult drive
Garryvoe/Ballycotton is a quiet, rural part of the country. There is one small service station in the local area where you can get some basics and stock up on essentials - Broderick's Service Station, P25 NR50. There are larger stores in Castlemartyr & Cloyne

If you're staying in Garryvoe Hotel and travelling down the morning of the wedding, be sure to contact them and ask for a space to get ready in if you need to. We have always found the hotel staff extremely accommodating & helpful and we're sure that it will be the same experience for you

There is a Sauna & Swim available at Garryvoe Beach for those brave enough to face the chilly Atlantic waters (Coastal Cabin Beach Sauna - https://maps.app.goo.gl/NimReZZMuwPFUt5L9)
For those who would prefer to blow of the cobwebs with a simple walk, the Ballycotton Cliff Walk is free and highly recommended (weather pending!)
McGraths is an idyllic little pub on Ballycotton Main Street, proudly run by Seán McGrath and his Family. We'd recommend to ramble in for one if you're at a loose end Thursday evening. We may be in there ourselves ;-)
